Dimmer 2 connecting

Dear all,

 

I'm considering the purchase of a Fibaro Dimmer 2 to control 4 build-in LED spots. But actually I still have some questions about the installation.

 

For me, the Fibaro diagrams on their website are not that clear, so I will try to explain my set-up and questions.

 

I have 2 double toggle switches to control 4 build-in LED spots.

1st double switch: right switch to control the 4 spots

• 2 brown wires on top
• 1 black wire on top
• 1 grey wire on top
• 1 yellow/green wire on top
• 1 grey wire at the bottom;
• 1 black wire at the bottom
• blue wire in the wall socket

 

2nd double switch: right switch to control the same 4 spots

• 3 brown wires on top
• 1 black wire on top
• 1 grey wire at the bottom
• blue wire in wall socket
• brown wire in wall socket
• yellow/green wire in wall socket

 

Can someone please explain if I need 1 or 2 Fibaro Dimmers to control the spots?

Can someone explain how I have to connect the dimmers? To which switch? Pictures would be great as I'm a real newbie in this matter.

I am kinda conffused so:

you are controll 4 same LED (lamps/lights etc?),

what is total wattage of those LED lights,

are you planning on dimming them or can they just be switched?,

Each dimmer has 2 inputs (S1 and S2) and one output (Sx), if you are trying to controll 4 lights in unison one is enough, if you are trying to controll4 lights individually you need 4,

 

If you are newbie at electrics i highly recommand getting yourselve a quallified electrician whom will do this for the. It will save you quite a shock (depending on your locall standards it could be around 220V).
