Everspring On / Off Switch sends a message: [Power has been applied] several times an hour.

Question

Posted

A relay flooded the notification center. A Everspring On / Off Switch sends a message: [Power has been applied] several times an hour. I had to made a scene that deletes the notification center once an hour, because the HCL hanged up from to many messages in the center.

    Import file into:

Add Device and To add the Virtual Device

Make a scene and run it every hour.

Is this a "feature" that can´t be turned off? I don´t see the need for the notifications every time I turn on my lights.

Go to devices, advanced settings for the device and set the Polling time interval to ‘Device excluded from polling’

Maybe not the best solution (then I won´t know if the device is dead, bad if I need it running (boiler, alarm...) , anyone got another solution?

Please give me a template number, we will try to force disabling this notification in Z-Wave definition file of this module.

Normally we do not prepare templates without sample of the device but I will try to put it in next release with disabled notifications :)

In next release there will be a Z-Wave template for this Everspring (v1.3).
During inclusion Home Center will send command to Disable this Notifications -> in theory device should accept this and stop sending those events.

Is the release with this fix out yet? I'm still struggling with this annoying problem with 4.581 Beta.

Issue is fixed (in theory) in current HC3 release and will be available in next HC2/HCL update.

So you need to wait for HC2 update, remember - device re-inclusion (or full reconfiguration) will be needed to apply changes.
Also we can't be sure that device supports disabling notifications, I hope so.

    Hi !

I've updated my HC2 on version 4.600 and I still have those notifications. I didn't see this fix in latest evolution list.

When will it be fixed ?

Still a problem for me. Bought three Everspring/Nexa AD147-2 recently and they send notifications everytime.

    Run a HC2/4.600.

Sorry but obvisusly not everytime: the dimmers are included in two scenes, switching them on/ off once a day. Tried to do it manually now (both the scenes and each device) and didnt get any notifications this time.
