How to control Alexa

So everyone seems to want Alexa to control the Home Automation system.  I want it the other way round.  

 

I would like to run a scene which told Alexa to play the radio without me saying Alexa, play Radio 2.

 

I've not yet found a way of communicating with Alexa other than by voice!

that's not possible, as far as i know

i like her to tell me if someone is at the door or something like that

If only the door bell could be connected to the Fibaro which ran a scene which told Alexa someone was there.

 

May be Alexa II (if only it existed) could receive incoming http requests....

I have Amazon Echo Dot gen 2 and HC2 (v 4.143). It is possible to make a scene for Alexa to play a radio station when just i come back home?

In this case you need to go to Alexa forum and ask Amazon to add this feature.

If you can give me an example for how can I do this!?

 

I want a very simple scenario....

When i leave the home status become away. When I come back, status away and activate the trigger (door sensor is open) I want to play music after 30 sec...

I don't think you can trigger Alexa externally (from HC2), what I meant is that may be some IFFT feature could help.

May I suggest to use AudioCast M5 device to play radio station or any other playlist which can be activated by HC2.  

Virtual Device available as well. (not plugin)
