Heatit (Multireg) Thermostat not displaying actual temperature

Question

Posted

I just realized that I posted this question in a really old thread so I thought I'd start a new topic.

I just installed a new HeatIT thermostat ver. 1.8. The problem is that the temperature sensor is not giving me the room temperature, but instead is reporting the set temperature on the termostat. I have two other ones that are ver. 1.5 and they work. Anyone else have this problem? I am running a HC2 4.130.

If you still haven't updated yours, you can do it like this...

I did it on all of my 4 iheatit thermostats today, the biggest issue... no template on the fibaro, but all the sensors come up like they are supposed to!

This cable costs like 1euro not even that much from AliExpress, the pins are bent abit just to stick inside the holes of the thermostat and not dc while updating...

I have updated to 1.92, but I still have problems with temperature reporting. For this fw version HeatIt add set of nodes, 3 nodes for temperature (internal sensor, external sensor, foor sensor). I use internal only, and also floor in some cases. I see values, but these values do not change. Stay same. After restart of HC2, new values come. During normal operation, day, night - stays same. Sometimes with wrong value (ex. 28degC when real temperature is about 21deg). On the other side - when I set setpoints and observe relayswich behavior, I see that Heatit works based on proper temperature. So the problem is only with updating my HC2.

I test it with 9 HeatIt devices at a house. Same problem for all. All updated to fw 1.92 with original cable from distributor.

Do you also observe such problem?

Do you have any hints?

HI! I wonder if you have original update cable or did one yourself? 75 Euros for original one is outrageous :/
Thanks,
Adam

I had original cable borrowed from local distributor.

With the update  only in the gateway (for example in Fibaro HC2) can you see the meassured room temp.

Only way to see the actual room temperature in the HeatIT thermostat is to use an external temperature sensor , I tested with

but show  on the display totally strange temperatures, I mean about  5-6 degrees more than real temp

There is not NCT 10K as NTC 10K. If you want accurate temp you need with constant B3977k not B4150. We have tested this thoroughly, because of internal temp is inaccurate af. after heating up.

Basically one of those:

I have ordered  640-10K Termistor NTC;10k9;THT;3977K;-40÷125°C;500mW and TT2-10KC3-10 Termistor NTC;10k9;THT;3977K;-40÷250°C;±1%   -so I hope will work correctly...

Will it be a Ota update?

FIBARO doesn't support any OTA updates for third-party devices.
