I have a problem with adding icons. I have make some icons on my note 8 and i want to add in the browser the icons. But if i select the on and off icon on the note i get the wrong location. The location is C:fakepath/iconname.png, but the location on my note on the sd card in the pad fibaroicon. Whats going wrong, i did it earlier on my note 4 and it works fine.

    @Reinhold,

This fakepath is not an issue, it is like that by design. And it might be not related to your issue.

It's just a security measure available in given web browsers.

In Chrome you have displayed "fakepath" but in Firefox no path at all is displayed, only the filename.

I have two Fibaro wallplug modules for which I want to change the icon, but I cannot get them uploaded.

I have tried several browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE) and on Windows as well as Mac.

    But nothing works.
If I select the two files, it shows c:\fakepath\<icon>
And when I confirm, it gives a white screen and nothing has changed.

Any idea how to get the icons updated?

    Hi @Willem-Jan,

Could you provide details of those files you try to upload?

I'm using the standard icons of the light bulb which are available with other modules in the Fibaro HCL.

By the way, with other modules, I can choose althernative icons. With the wallplug, no alternative icon can be chosen.

Are you trying to add them in local (192.x.x.x) or remote (home.fibaro.com) access?

I'm trying via the remote login.

Since I'm not at the location, I;m not able to test with local access.

    Hi @Willem-Jan,

Unfortunately, adding icons works only in the local access. You need to wait until you get home ; -)

What!? Why? (and why doesn´t it say so when I try to upload icons from home.fibaro.com instead of showing me a white page?)

I am getting fakepath whilst in local mode also. IP address on my network is 172.x.x.x rather than 192.x.x.x as mentioned above. Any more ideas on how I might be able to add a custom icon please?
