Adding Yale Door Lock

Zaid_Evo

Question

Hello Dears,

I have a Yale door lock (YDM 3168) with a z-wave module which was added to an old defective HC2. I replaced HC2 and I am trying to add this door lock to it but I am not able. As far as I know I need to reset the z-wave memory to be able to add it to a new HC2 as the other Fibaro devices, but I don't know how. I deleted the credentials from the Yale door lock but it still does not work. Anyone has an idea about this issue?. In addition, I noticed a new section 'to add a lock' in the last update of HC2. How can I use it to add my Yale door lock?

Thanks in advance

Hi Zaid_evo,

I don't remember the procedure i did for another yale door lock but i remember i needed to be very close to the HC2 to be able to connect.   I had to bring the HC2 1 foot from the door lock

Worth a try!

Hope that help
