unexpected Mesh Reconfig message - device deletion...

Question

Posted

Hi @T.Konopka

I was doing a mesh reconfig on a Qubino device. I use it to read temp in  a freezer in a garage and also to stretch my network out towards my front gate.

This is what was reported back in the little top window in the UI

Please login or register to see this code.

The first 4 lines are expected but the last three are not

The device in question (id 757) was not deleted in this mesh reconfig process despite what was reported.

I'm running 4.140

Never seen "delete" after mesh reconfigure. And when I saw "delete", "delete" really removed that device. How odd!

Fun :) I've had this like 3-4 FW back.  If i remember correctly i had one device which i forced removed as it wouldn't remove when using remove from the UI, then some time later was doing a soft reconfiguration on another device and got that delete message for the device i was soft re configuring.  Device was not deleted and all was ok so i didn't pay attention to it.

@AutoFrank, is it possible that you tried to delete the device from the system before, but unsuccessfully?

    @T.Konopka

    nope, it's a device that has been included for a while now and is working well

    It didn't get deleted when this happened

    Totally strange.

    We'll keep that in mind and we'll look for any explanation of this.

    Most important is that the device is working well ;)

    @T.Konopka just for your info. My post was written like an irony, but I'm in no laughing mood....
