Question

Posted

Hello,

I would like to create a virtual switch (a switch which is not a device itself) to trigger certain actions. So far I use a scene for this, but from a user perspective I prefer a switch (for example: main light switch, which turns on or off a certain number of lights)

I have used Domoticz before (great software, but i had a problem with the stability of the  network and the smartphone app was so and so) and there this was very easy to create.

Many thanks and all the best

Kai

Just to make sure my understanding is correct:

You want to have two buttons ON and OFF to switch group of lights from Virtual Device manually.

By the way you can set association between the light switches... so when you turn on phisical switch light all others will turn ON as well.

notice: FIBARO UI doesn't have buttons with stable states. You can't draw pressed and unpressed button, harrow and alas!
