Hi @Murakami78,

The solution provided by @gucio1234 is a good one but a bit complicated and demanding.

Alexa or Google Home (soon) may be an easier solution - easier but also less flexible.

Here are some articles about the Alexa and our system:

@I.Srodka , thank you that my effort was noticed.

Amazon Alexa listenes to the voice commands and pass them to Fibaro box - so this to add voice commands of the user to home automation system.

What I presented is to convert text into speech, so the house announces the messages around (may also play music).

I guess the initail question of @Murakami78 was to have a house speaking rarther then listening.

I agree that it passes commands to Fibaro Home Center.

However, for example, Google Home device with Fibaro App can much more complimentary solution. It can respond with some device statuses, it can list rooms, answer some questions and not just pass the command.

Furthermore, it can supplement our system with some of its own knowledge, for example, on the one hand you can ask about temperature in the bathroom and on the other hand it will tell you your outside temperature without any additional sensors (web-based weather data).

Or you can check how long will your commute to work take and immediately after that you can start preparing your house for leave (scene Goodnight) earlier because you know it will take longer today.

Absolutely, I just suggest different variants, as those assistants can also be very descriptive and can list or enumerate a few things ; - )

@I.Srodka what type of setup needs to be done prior to the Google Home using the Fibaro App to invoke those type of responses?

Thanks,

Matthew

FYI, I use a Raspberry Pi 3 with Node-Red/Mosquitto to let my Athom Homey speak. Check my signature for more info.

Also with Node-Red you can trigger (by the HC2) to send snapshots from an IP-camera to a Telegram bot or custom mail account, check if mobile phones are connected to your Ubiquiti access points and do a lot more. Your imagination is the limit.
