Hi! today I bought outdoors multisensor AEOEZW074 (AEO_MULTISENS)

 

it' doesn't work.

 

after including:
* motion sensor always show "never breached" - it doesn't work at all!

* lux sensor always show - 1000lux

* temperature - not correct

 

also no template  (Of course you are!)

device power via USB

why I can't add parameters manually?

but I can't add parameters manually - UI not provide this action at all.

Sometimes my HC2 does not show the *add parameter* in the advanced window. However, a restart can help. Sometimes even to refresh the browser window help.

 

There seems to be a bug somewhere. Not all the time but sometimes when I program a scene in LUA, there can in the top of the lua-window be seen two buttons where I can chose to go back to block scenes or cancel lua editing. That is strange as I newer program in block scenes and cannot go back...?

 

I am on the .150 software version (the latest stabile version).

Please note that devices added without templates should still work with basic functions since templates give us only visual support for maintaining the device. This means that templates facilitate changing the parameters, however any other functionality should work without problems. To change a parameter, please go to device’s advanced settings and choose “Add Parameter” at the bottom of the page. All the information about parameters of a given device is in its manual. We can forward the template file to our Software Developers for a review to check if it can be added to Fibaro system within one of the next software updates. We are constantly working on adding templates to our system, but because of large number of such devices it can take some time. @10der, stop using exclamations points. Why are you yelling in the Internet?

I checked the case, you sent the exact same content that you wrote in the original post. In summary: the device does not work and has no template. You did not indicate that you cannot add parameters, because the button in the advanced settings does not respond - and this is the issue. You did not clearly and comprehensibly state what the issue is that's why you received this answer.

 

Nevertheless, thanks for indicating the issue. I have reported it to the dev team. Next time, please, make an effort and report the issue clearly and describe what seems not to work.

I own a ZW074 aka MultiSensor Gen5. If I recall correctly, this device has an "empty" template, which is confusing. So you first have to un-check "use template ..."  I included mine long ago.  I checked my parameters and I think the most important one is P5 = 2 (it has to do with reporting type "sensor" or "basic", I cannot remember). Mine is running latest firmware, which is 1.3.

Yes, you added the screen shot but you did not write anything about it - I suppose our engineer guessed that you mean that there is no template.

Always remember to explain everything in detail about the issue you encounter. It is a lot easier for the team to come up with 3 possible explanations/solutions when we have a lot data then trying to guess what a user means.
