Archidee

Question

Is their a script available to associate a S2 switch of one Fibaro Dimmer 2 as a virtual switch to a ‘real’ S1 switch of another dimmer via zwave directly or via the HC2 en viceversa?

Hi @Archidee,

If i get it correctly, you want to use S2 on Dimmer 2 to control another Dimmer2, right? If yes, then you need associations.

-> configuration sections:

4th Association Group „On/Off (S2)” is assigned to switch no. 2. Sends BASIC command class frame according to the state of the device.
5th Association Group „Dimmer (S2)” is assigned to switch no. 2. Sends MULTILEVEL SWITCH command class frame. Allows sending dim/brighten command to associated devices.

  • Correct. I would like to associate the S2 of one Dimmer to an Other Dimmer and vice versa.
