Aeotec multisensor keeps flashing green

Hi all,

 

I have two Aeotec multisensors both working ell. The only trouble I have is that they flash the green light once every 5 seconds or so.

 

It's quite bright, so at night time it's not great!

 

Is there a way to turn it off? Or, perhaps it is indicating something I need to fix, which will then turn it off?

Hi @petergebruers thanks for your help so far. I will try the reboot. 

 

As far as strange behaviours... not really that i can think of. 

 

I have a whole lot of devices i dont know what they are, but apart form that it seems to be behaving as expected.

Cannot believe on a sunday morning i was that bored i decided to search for aeotec annoying led and landed back here. Yes i had the same issue as you over the years, updated to latest version and also updated the aeotec devices with the fibaro. Using the parameter didnt work as expected and yes it polls so much. My solution was to use some white duct tape (4 layers) around the led. Until they update the template i guess we are stuck with this.

just a question to the firmware versions...

 

some say they have 1.8 on the MS6 and some 1.13

On the MS6 website you only geht the 1.13 version.

 

i have two different version on my 5 MS6's 1,8 and after flashing one, 1.13.

 

which one is the better eg. newer one?

I don't know if this topic is still up, but add parameter 81 in HC2 and change the setting to parameter 81, 1d, 2 then it stops flashing.

 

you have to uncheck "use template"
