Camera issue since update ?

alandee

Question

Not sure if it is related to the update, but .. post update to 4.161 :

I've got a few cameras that don't display a still in the overview screens so after the update thought I'd add the path to the jpg ..

Streaming/channels/1/picture .. seems pretty inocuous, but when I added it it locks up the HC2, and I can no longer access the HC2 remotely ..

Indeed I refreshed and it now tells me it is unavailable over the fibaro-id link, and I get only spinning blue balls over VPN ..

Is there an address I can poke into it to reboot over VPN that anyone knows ? I can't access my reboot script :)

Cheers,

al.

Update : Waiting for a long time, and then was able to access the HC2 remotely, and .. still no overview image.

I'll not try again until I get home and am infront of it.

Update 2 : Waiting longer, and was able to see that this now shows, which is half a piccy on both of the higher resolution cameras ( 105 is one of the new ones ) ( Games room is an old reliable foscam .. ) .. so it may just be that the jpg image is too big, or something is wrong with my settings ..

  • Update 3 : I think it might be firefox that is causing some of the issue, or bandwidth .. or something else ..

@I.SrodkaThis can probably be moved out of 4.161 thread... i think it may be conincidental and unrelated.

    Cheers,

    al.
