Hi guys,

 

I am reading the posts and I have an impression, that Intercom just does not work, as it should. Missed notifications, delays, hangs, software issues ... I was thinking about buying it, but ... does ANYONE successfully installed Intercom and is happy about it???

Right now, mine has been returned and waiting for a refund. No admin has answered my problem, and support team, has ignored me.

So no, here is an unhappy customer.

Also not happy:

 

- device gets abnormally hot

- missing notifications on iphone

- no option to enable audio on ipad

- unacceptable delay when trying to answer an incoming call

Same here plus blurry spots in the image. 

Thought LAN would solce some problems but same behavior.

hi together,

yes, I have a working intercom. Connected via LAN and powered over PoE.

Not flawless, but good enough for the moment I would say.

 

Sure, an android app would be nice, but there are alternate wayys to use it there.

 

It crashed and didn't reboot after a powerloss caused by my electrician, but since then it's working for over a week now without interruption.

What is your serial number?

Mine is 00000704.

I have the serial no 872 with Software Version 4.1.0_81_e29b44a_REL

For reliable notifications I'm using a scene in HC2 that sends me push messages onto the iPhone. It works every time. Even if the intercom app itself is not recognizing the call.

 

I'm aware that you expect such things to work without 'fixing' it yourself. For me I can say I got used to it.

 

Here is the LUA code if anyone needs it.

213 is the device id of the intercom.

207 is the message id from notifications panel

226 is the iPhone id

 

the tasker scene call is optional.. i use it to play a sound (or have it read out a messag)on a wall-mounted android tablet using tasker and TNES.
