Question

Posted (edited)

Hi

I tried setting up my dimmer2 and wall plugs with command "lights off" and "lights" on. Works fine.

I have a lot of devices, and it takes a long time to edit the voice command on them all. I am thinking there must be a smarter way.

Is it possible to make a scene, controlled by a Lili voice command, and include all the devices I want in this scene?

Ideally I would want to say "all lights off", and make all living room lights turn off.

Or maybe there is a smarter way. Suggestions welcome. :)

Thanks.

Haraldo

Edit:

Actually it didnt work to set the same command on all the devices. When I say "living room lights off", Lili just replies "What device did you mean".

She does not understand "all" as an answer, but if I give her a device name it turns off.

My suggestion would be - get amazon echo :)

In my opinion, if you need to open the app, click on Lili, wait till she say something and just then tell her the command, that is not really usable. You are much faster to just start the scene manually from the widget... :)

Check FW 4.170 release notes.
I thought Lili will be phased out.

    Thanks for your replies.

I agree a better voice unit would be a better idea. I'll have a look at Echo.

I also have a new apple tv and a couple of ipads and an iphone. Maybe Siri could work as a voice commander too?

Snippet from Fibaro's FW 4.170 release note

    Software Changes List 4.170:

    Version 4.170
After a few years of faithful service, we have decided to retire Lili - our voice assistant, to make way for Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

    No mention of Siri (yet).

I am not happy with any of these companies or hackers that might listen into my home.
