Aeotec gen5 z-stick as primary controller and HCL as secondary controller

Rikbast

Question

Hi,

I have been looking on the forum about the subject in the title, but I can't find an adequate answer.

So, would it be possible to use Aeotec gen5 z-stick in combination with Domoticz as a primary controller and the HCL as secondary?

thx,

Rik

  • Ok, I did some testing by making the HCL the secondary controller by learning it to the Aeotec Z-stick. HCL becomes secondary controller and I see my devices, but as unconfigured. The mains devices can be reconfigured, but the  battery devices not, it concerns Fibaro motion sensor ZW5 and Fibaro smoke sensor 2.

As suggested by support I unpowererd the Aeotec z-stick to force connect the battery devices to the HCL, but after waking them up, they fail within one minute in the reconfiguring process. Anybody an idea how to solve this?

As the HCL is now secondary controller, I can't add devices directly.

    thx.
