IFTTT - Options unavailable

Hello!

 

I am trying to trigger events with IFTTT if a Fibaro wall plug is switched on or off. I have connected Fibaro with IFTTT successfully, however when I try to create a "Switched on" trigger I get "Options unavailable" under "Which device", while I expected to get a list of all devices with switch on/off capability. Does anyone know if this is a bug, or if I am missing something?

 

Fibaro HC Lite, firmware 4.504.

Is anyone still onto this problem?

It is because our Fibaro ID has a special character which is causing problems with IFTTT.

Can Fibaro please allow password for Fibaro ID not to contain any special characters?

That is all we need.

So I'm fucked if I have a + in my Fibaro ID? I have [email protected] as login but I'm sure it has worked before (years ago probably).

If that's the issue somebody (IFTTT or Fibaro) fucked up seriously. Special characters should be encouraged, not the opposite.

 

What counts as special in this case? Anything but a-z, A-Z and 0-9?

I thought I'd add to this thread since it is the first one that shows on google search. I had IFTTT working with Fibaro for two months or so, but after update 4.610 it got wonky. One applet still worked, the other not. If I try to recreate the applet I get "Please select from the drop-down" error message when I try to select a Fibaro Scene.

 

I get "Options unavailable" sometimes to.

 

I guess Fibaro does not prioritize IFTTT much but then they should remove the Fibaro service in IFTTT or customers waste time on troubleshooting. ?
