Can't add door sensor after replacing battery

Hi,

 

I have just replaced the battery of my door sensor which used over a year. After replacing, I can't get any reading of my door sensor. Then I force removed the device and I can't add the door sensor to my HC2 anymore.

 

I also reset the sensor by clicking both TMP at the same time when placing the battery, but the LED just blinked 8 times in 5 sec, this makes me feel weird. The sensor does react when it sense the magnet around.

 

Does anyone know how to add to HC2 in my case? Thanks a lot.

I had forced removed the device but then, I can't included it anymore

Go to Devices --> add remove and again "do delete devices"

When correctly done reincluded

I had entered the "delete device" mode for couple times but it doesn't appear anything, even I enter learning mode too.

Hi @Brendanlim,

 

Try folowing processes.

 

With Z-Wave gateway:

1. Open the cover of D/W 2
2. Go to Devices --> add or remove device -> Remove device
3. Hit Remove device button
4. Hold TMP button on bottom of device. -> If you have FGK-10x and not FGDW-002, then press and hold internal TMP button.
5. Triple-click on side button of device.
6. Device should be excluded.

Reset without Z-Wage gateway:

1. Open the cover.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Install the battery while holding both TMP buttons.
4. Visual LED indicator will be flashing slowly for 5 seconds – keep holding the buttons.
5. Release one button when the LED indicator starts flashing quickly.
6. Click released button once to confirm launching of reset procedure.
7. Wait a few seconds until a long blink of the LED indicator. Do not remove the battery.
8. Visual LED indicator will blink 5 times quickly to confirm the reset.

I had the same problem, once before. I´ve solved replacing the battery(again), because the batery i´ve used didn´t provide the power required by the device. So i´ve changed to the same brand that came with it, and all started to work smoothly again.

I have replaced a new 3.6V battery, but still unable to include to Fibaro

I am using FGK001 door sensor. I tried your processes, but it just won't work.

@Brendanlim, then i guess you should start warranty process with your reseller.

OK, i have 6 things to check before RMA.

1. Is it Z-Wave device?
2. Does it have same frequency as Z-Wave controller?
3. Change battery.
4. Reset device by trying exclusion. Devices -> Add or Remove device -> Device to Remove.
5. Reset device by according to manual and go to point nr. 4.
6. Try to reboot controller and go to point nr. 4.

Try to restart fibaro and then try again

I have tried everything mentioned abow. Still no success.

When i try to reset by holding the intern reset button and replaces the battery. The led only blink twice.

I have deleted the sensor in Fibaro. It seem like I have also been able to exclud it.

It just dont want to get included again.
