To play Spotify playlist on Google Home, there are various methods available.

On mobile phones, you download Google Home app and link your Spotify account on Google Home, then go to Settings > Google Assistant to set Spotify as the default player on Google Home.

On Desktop, you might as well try a tool known as AudFree Spotify Music Converter to download playlist from Spotify to local files. In this way, you can play Spotify playlists offline on any player and device without premium.

You can link Google Home App and Spotify.

Step 1. Download both Apps
You would need to download both apps so that you could link them to each other. Then click on the Google Home icon on your screen.

Step 2. Go to Settings
Once the application pulls up, hit the three lines in the corner. Then scroll down to where it says More settings.

Step 3. Add Your Music
Click on More settings. Then go down to Services where it says Music. Once you click on Music, you will find various music services. This is where you can add your music onto Google's application.

Step 4. Link Both Apps
Scroll down the screen until you see Spotify. Opposite it, you will see a link icon, click on it. A pop-up window will appear, click on Link Account.

Step 5. Log into Your Spotify Account
Log into your Spotify account. Then go ahead hit OK at the bottom. Once you have hit OK you can see it says unlink right below Spotify.

Or you can use DumpMedia Spotify Music Converter to download Spotify music for offline playing.
