'Home Center' Android App 1.0.0

Did find the new "Home Center" App (prerelease version so far) this morning and downloaded it to my Android phone.

 

Looks really good visually compared to the old App (at least in my view), but functionality aren't really there yet in my view.

- You can't arm the hole house with one action (swipe up doesn't work). So you have to arm one room at a time (and requires no PIN even if all my user account are setup to require PIN when arming). Disaming gets even worse, still have to be done per room but now also requires PIN so takes a long time to disarm all rooms.

- Categories are good but not used fully. In the App the "Security" category are empty, but in my HC2 I have over 20 devices added to this category.

- Login function is strange..... First you login with your Fibaro ID (just as in the old app), then you select the HC2 you want to use (just as in the old app (I think)) then you are in and connected!?! What happened to the "User Login"?????

- Main screen, vibrates on all actions you do which quickly becomes irritating.

- Main screen, at the top section it says 'Active Profile: At Home'. Even if I arm the entire house it stays this way which makes no sense.

I login and see my homecenter, after I press it, it says that my homecenter is not completely configured for the new app. I upgraded to last version of the Homecenter 2 firmware... So what did I miss?

If you launch a browser and connect to the IP address of your HC, login as owner, then go to "configuration", Wizard HC, click on "Configure" does it display a screen mentioning "4 of 4 steps completed"?

Suspecting, that this *may* *be* possible with the "Profiles", as in competing systems - but this is my dream only,  dreamed, when looked the text in app: "Active Profile: At home". This may be just some indication about network connectivity (phone in same subnet with HC). And another thing - the profiles must also implemented in HC (as it was with Category's; first something new in GUI, and from Fibaro side a enigmatic smile like a Mona Lisa - You will see )

 

Clear present question to Fibaro: What's exactly the meaning of "Profile" there?

hello, I can open the new Fibaro home Center app but I don't see anything in it and I am logged in 

it is very strange 

 

in the old app I can see my 58 devices so 

what do i do wrong ?

+ I'm happy for new app, above all I appreciate new look and speed, but I totally lost control of heating system.

No way to manage temperature of existing heating panel, I need to use old app for this.

For me also, it shows just EMPTY pages after Fibaro ID login.

Gateway is running  4.530.

The old app shows all my devices.

I need to open a port in my router (modem)?

No need to open a port.

 

- Check if username and password of SuperUser on your HC are identical to your Fibaro ID (owner ID). The name is case sensitive.

- If you enter 5 bad user/password combinations, the IP of your phone gets banned for 30 minutes. To check that: open a browser on your phone and type in the LAN IP address of your HomeCenter. If that page does not load, you'll have to wait 30 minutes or reboot your HC to lift the ban.

Yes, 4 out of 4 completed

 

edit: found out what the issue was. Don't know why, but I renamed my Homecenter and then it was fine..

Yesterday my phone was complaining about the new app draining the battery. Anyone observed this also? I forced the app to go into sleep modus.

    1.1.0 just released and have taken a few steps in the right direction. 

     

    But much issues remains and it is a long time left before it is at par with the old App.

    They are completly on the wrong track, scrolling isn't better than icons.

    The more functions they add the more annoing the scrolling will be.
