Do you own a Sonos speaker? Than you can use the Sonos remote and add a maximum of 5 radiostations.

I have a raspberry pi connected to two ceiling speakers. The raspberry pi runs

Music box runs on mopidy which can be controlled via http requests. I have a virtual device setup to send the commands.

But it you asked for simple, so I suppose this doesn’t count. Cheap yes (£35 plus box), simple no.

Alternatively, my upcoming alexa doorbell skill might help? How you ask, well using Alexa routines you can play the radio etc. My website will enable you to create as many doorbells as you desire and these doorbells can be used as triggers to start Alexa routines. A virtual device could be setup to send these triggers and start an alexa routine. It’s almost complete awaiting for it to be accepted into the Alexa store.

But this requires you to have an Alexa device (£50, although I got mine during Black Friday £25)

@Curt-4-U

Hi.

If you're looking for an economical version and don't insist on a Sonos device,

one of the cheapest devices is the Audiocast M5 (also branded under the iEASt M5 brand) works with the iEAST QA application. There are other products from iEAST

You can also buy a cheap version of the Arylic streamer.

There is also a QA on the Fibaro Marketplace and it has been very successful.

It all depends on whether you have an amplifier, receiver, active speakers...

Accordingly, choose a device that either has a line output, or includes an amplifier, or is directly built into the speaker.

I'm using an Audiocast M5 with a self-built amplifier because I had 10W speakers to spare. I also use iEAST PRO M30 (one with PC speakers with an integrated amplifier and the other with the receiver.

Multiroom works, integration in Fibar.

Yes, there are new products from iEast today, but you can still buy the older/cheaper ones.
