SIRI & Alexa - HC3 ???

Question

Hi.

 

Does anybody use SIRI or Alexa on HC3 ???

 

Alexa - Device is unresponsive

Siri - sorry, there was a problem with the app

Have you tried to reboot the HC3? It seems to work for some users.

@interested on your account you have only 1 HC3 or more gateways?  maybe you use other gateway for integration?

For me, only the devices from the HC 2 are displayed, the learned ones on the HC 3 are not shown in Alexa

I just bought HC3 and just so i understand. I can't make Siri do anything without buying an Automation Bridge?

Without the bridge you can only use Siri Shortcuts.

No. I mean that without bridge you can set up own activation phrases for certain scenes and then launch them with Siri. If you want direct control of the whole system, you will have to buy a bridge. But as far as I know, existing home bridge plugin does not support HC3 yet. Also Fibaro said something about native HomeKit support, but we all know how long Fibaro can implement something. So right now there is no option for you to use HC3 with HomeKit unfortunately.

I did some try & error already, but can't find a resolution...
1. I have only one HC3 as I sold my HC2 already. I moved all 129 devices to the new HC3 already. The 'Integrations' = Active flag in the Fibaro Cloud setup is set.

2. I use a Fibaro ID 'Admin', which has the HC3 owner rights.

3. There is a user account 'Alexa', which has separate credentials but full access to all relevant devices. All users are synced with the HC3.

4. I activated the Fibaro skill for Alexa and used the Fibaro ID 'Admin' when I tried the first time. --> No success. No devices found. No error message.

5. I deactivated the skill again and used the Fibaro ID 'Alexa' when I reactivated the skill. --> same result. No devices found, but also no error message.

 

As there is no log file I am a lost where to start working on a resolution. All try & error activities failed so far.

It worked well on my old HC2 for months. Obviously the new HC3 makes additional trouble.

 

All recommendations are welcome.

I set up Alexa yesterday in our showroom and it works well with devices. But scenes, that is other story. I made workarround with IFTTT, so it works well now.

I have Problems with HC3  & Alexa too. With my HC2 it worked well but with the HC3 Alexa said Device not responding, after a while only 3 Devices are shown in my Alexa App and 

they are shown as new Devices. Must i delete all my Fibaro Devices???

Hello

just Start a soft reconfiguration on the missing modules !!!

you can check this easily in the Fibaro app just the modules on the list favorites working with Alexa but after reconfig everything should be work smoothly

Hi,
i have the same issue with Alexa, did anyone of you get it fixed?

 

After the migration from HC2 and set "integration" to HC3 no devices or scenes can be discovered.

The support is keeping silences since I raised a ticket and followed their instruction to use a different FibaroID.

 

What I did already:

 

- removed all devices in nearly every way in Alexa (APP, WEB) many times

- re-added HC3 to FibaroID (old)

- removed/deleted FibaroID (old) 

- added HC3 to a new account

- tried admin user and special user for Alexa service

- ....

 

Nothing changed my situation. Got pressure from my family ? cause nothing works as normal since migration to HC3 (from Alexa perspective).
