Loosing connections to hc3

Question

Posted

I'm new to fibaro and i bought a hc3

there are several problems but the one annoying me the most is while configuration the device from the web interface the system looses connection randomly

you need to log back in but after some minutes its again loosing connection.

Anyone else have this problem?

p.s. HC3 is connected trough lan and has a static ip

tried this with chrome, edge, firefox but all the same

@sneekerz

the computer you are using is on wifi?

please shut down the hc3 and use a dos box to ping you're hc3, if you get a reaction there is another device sharing that same ip

Try to switch the hc3 to dhcp, just to see if that works better.

So far I haven't experienced this problem. My HC3 is on DHCP and connected to the network with Ethernet. All my computers are on Ethernet.

Is the Homecenter connected to Wifi? Connecting it to a fixed ethernet could help. Mine is rock solid. Browsing it from a MacBook with Safari browser.

    Hi, no it's connected to a fixed Ethernet port. The issue only exists when connecting through the cloud

    as @akatar already said, it was probably IP conflict.
