hi ,

 

I need some help with a fibaro motion sensor and a dimmer 2, if I add an association to group 2 movement nothing happens. more people with this problem ?

@dennismom, did you wake up sensor or not? Motion sensor is battery based device that falls to sleep for 4000 seconds. If you set it up, you need to wake it up.

 

I have tested associations from motion sensor with Walli dimmer and Dimmer 2. It works like a charm.

@dennismom Did you include both devices in Unsecure/Secure Mode to HC3? If you include one of device for example Dimmer in Secure Mode and Motion Sensor in Unsecure Mode, that could be a problem. If you are not sure, just reinclude both of devices in same mode.

 

Also like @jakub.jezek mentioned, you need to wait for wake-up window of Z-Wave battery device (Motion Sensor in this case) or manually wake-up Motion Sensor so changes are applied.
