HC3 and Remote connect

Question

Posted

Hello,

Anyone has an issue with a remote connection? After reboot it works fine for hour or two, later it become unavailable. It works well in LAN.

IP set to static, DNS is set to 8.8.8.8

Fibaro ID is set inside HC3 and it's green. Everything is configured correctly.

Same problem here. Lokal access via IP is possible, but no access via Fibaro Cloud or "Home Center" App. Connections always timed out:

Also very strange: i configured my HC3 with static IP and connection via LAN and DISABLED Wlan. First, as above described, the global connection is not possible after 1-2 hours and also WLAN is active again in settings and disturbs my local WLAN.

I am afraid HC3 has still some kind of childhood illnesses. :(

I also confirm this behavior.

Wlan is on again (but not connected).
The access via FibaroID does not work remotely or from the local LAN even though the account is synchronized.
Only local admin and users with local account work.

I have fw 5.021.38

eM.

Hello ,

I used to have some issue’s with some IP device’s even if the were set to static IP.
My HCL had also this problem.
A probable cause was my router.It was set to DHCP for every network device attached to the network, even with assign fixed IP-address to the devices with a static IP address.
My solution was quite simple.
In the router settings I did an adjustment of the DHCP IP range settings.
Old
192.164.1.1 -> 192.164.1.255.

New
192.164.1.100 -> 192.164.1.200.

All the devices with an Fixed IP is in the range 1-99.
Since this adjustment no problems with offline or unreachable devices.
My HC3 is running without any connection problems, locally or remote.

Hi

There is a remote login option/solution to Fiabro HC3  or HC2 with full rights? I mean to have right to upload new QA-s, icons ?

Apart from the fact that I access it via a local PC like anydesk.
