very skilled cats :) Please contact next time with support, let them check your logs, because I can say we don't delete devices on own. Only way to delete device to have that logs are:
    - force action to delete and device must be dead - if it will answer force removing is stoped
    - you entered removing device and someone was pressed button
    - after restart HC from some reason there was no info about device on z-wave chip so it was deleted from datatbase

If this device supports COMMAND_CLASS_DEVICE_RESET_LOCALLY - is it possible either your "very skilled cats" initiated a "factory reset" of this device? LOL. Well, ermmmm maybe this device supports reset after eg pressing and holding a button for 20 seconds and your cat was sitting on it?

Or the device supports COMMAND_CLASS_DEVICE_RESET_LOCALLY and has a bug and factory reset itself?

I recognise that device, but it is not certified so no idea if it supports that CC officially and also difficult to find the correct manual (different formwares!). If you download the "template" and unzip it you can search in xml "<commandClasses><commandClass cmdClass="COMMAND_CLASS_ ... and so on" if you want to find out.

    Hi Peter & 10der,

as I had the same problem twice already with the same switch I am wondering if you made any other observation after reprogramming the switch. Happy for any feedback.
