virtual switch to fire http commands for on and off

Hi all,

I am trying to create a virtual light switch which will fire out an on and off command to a network interface from a third party.

I already have a server on the network listening for the commands

for example the on command is http://(server ip address:port)/commands for on

off command is http://(server ip address:port) commands for off

 

Can it be done?

any help would be super appreciated

I am on HC3 and please forgive me but i am a newbie.

I am very new to coding and Lua.

I can either post tellnet commands or http commands as the server is listening

I have Fibaro in half my house and C-Bus in the other half.

I would like to control my whole house with the Fibaro app.

tellnet commands for c-Bus are; 

on //project name/network name/application name/group address

on //MYHOUSE/254/56/1

off //MYHOUSE/254/56/1

 

or http sent to the server;

http://10.0.0.90:8080/cgate?cmd=On%20//MYHOUSE/254/56/1 

http://10.0.0.90:8080/cgate?cmd=Off%20//MYHOUSE/254/56/1

what URL for checking the current status

check for level tellnet;

GET //MYHOUSE/254/56/1 level

 

I assume for http it would be;

http://10.0.0.90:8080/cgate?cmd=GET%20//MYHOUSE/254/56/1%20level
