Alexa does not discover any Fibaro devices

Question

Posted

Since a few days the Alexa app does not discover any of the Fibaro devices. I removed all devices and disabled and re-enabled the skill linking to my Fibaro ID but still the devices are not getting discovered

Good Evening,

Maybe this helps in the case where new devices do not show up.

Case: System with over 100 devices. Alex would seemingly not show "new" devices  with their Fibaro device ID.

Reason / what happend:

* Device had been installed before and had shown up in Alexa

* Device were disconnected and removed from Alexa groups

* Devices were excluded from HC2  and  included again in HC2 with a new device number

* Devices were visible in Alexa with the OLD name they had before beeing removed - I did not expect this and therefore did not find these devices in the list of over 100 devices at first

I assume that Alexa stores some kind of HW IDs even after devices are removed.
