Maximum number of binary input/output channels on ZUNO

Question

Posted

There are 25 digital pins on the ZUNO but can all of them be used for binary input/output using a Fibaro HC2?

Thanks for any advice.

Not sure what I catch your question

how counting of Zuno pins related with Zuno channels?!
AFAIK Zuno can implement 10 channels

so you can have 10 switches

actually I have tested 5 switches 1 temp 1 hum 1 pressure  1 binary sensor

Hi 10der, thank you for your rapid reply. There are 25 "digital" pins but some have additional functions e.g. PWM or INT so I am querying whether all 25 can be setup as ZUNO_SWITCH_BINARY(getterSwitchX, setterSwitchX) channels where X = 1 to 25?

I guess you have answered my question - Zuno is limited to 10 channels so there can be a maximum of 10 switches. Can I ask which Pins these should be set up on? 9 to 18?

Thanks again for your help. It is greatly appreciated.

Just following up on my query. Has anyone been able to use Zuno with more than 10 digital inputs/outputs? If so which pins can you use?

My Z-UNO uses 9 relays (pin 10,11,12,14,15,16,19,20,21), 7 temperature sensors (pin 9) and 5 input sensors (pin 8,7,6,5,17)

Wow. Ok. That is a lot. Thanks as this is VERY helpful.

One question how can you have 7 temperature sensors on pin9?

The other Z-UNO uses a me 280 pressure and humidity sensor, 6 DS18B20 temperature sensors, 10 relays,
and 1 sensor. Everything has been working perfectly for more than a year.

the DS18B20 temperature sensors have different addresses and are connected to the same pin Z-UNO
