http 401 error after passing user and pwd in the url

how to send username and password to an url?

 

This url works in the browser or other lua environments. But in the HC3 i received an 401 error.

Do the USER contain a '@', i.e. an email address?

    I Dont know what the part sendData=true does in the URL

    I changed it to devices (to get a list of all connected devices).

    What if it does? I am facing this issue in my setup, tried with manually generating the Authorization header and no success. HC3. Thanks!
