Store variables in HC3 too often could be an issue???

Question

Posted (edited)

Hello!

I create a scene which runs a function of a Quick App. This function updates (stores)  a value of this QA and a global value by using the setVariable() and setGlobalVariable() functions.

Because I run the scene every 1 minute, I would like to know if there may be a problem-issue with the HC3 because the variables are stored so often in the memory.
Are these variables stored locally in the system or sent to the cloud environment and the HC3 read them from there?

Thanks

No problem. Stored locally in the HC3. Takes a few ms...

Thank you very much. I just wonder because this scene will be repeated every minute for 24 hours a day forever.

why dont you only update the variable if there has been a change?

been running update variables every minute for a few month and am updating about 10 different variables checking every minute and almost no movement on the cpu memory usage at all
