Not able to deactivate a climate schedule

Question

Posted

Hi y’all, I don’t see an answer in the forum about the following:

I included one radiator thermostat (HC3, firmware 5.050.13) and created a climate zone for that single device, called “garage”.
At that time a schedule is automatically made with (only...) 4 time temperature changing points.
This schedule is automatically active.
I don’t want to use the schedule, so I switched it to OFF.
I only want to switch the radiator thermostat to temperatures manually, at the device itself or via the Home Center app.

However … when I set the radiator thermostat (at the device itself) to a certain temperature, it still switches back to the temperature according the changing points in the schedule(!), which I deactivated!?!

And when I set a temperature via the Home Center app (for e.g. 3 hrs.), it switches back to the schedule after that period of time.
What schedule is that? I deactivated the schedule!

Is this a bug, or don’t I understand how the ‘system’ works?

Did you sync the schedule after you deactivated it?

I did not tried this myself, but I changed the schedule in the past and the changes only worked after I synced it manually to the devices.

Hi ImaginaPixJS, tnx for your reaction.

I don't know exactly what you mean by a 'manual sync'.

I see in my HC3 that the schedule is switched off, and all my other radiator thermostats work fine via their own activated schedules in Home Center 3.

But this is the only radiator I don't want to react to a schedule, that's why I switched its schedule to OFF.

By doing so I thought the thermostat would be in some sort of manual mode.

But the device still reacts to its deactivated(!) schedule.

Under advanced there is an option to sync the schedule to the device in case of problems - see screenshot:

No such possibility in my Home Center 3 for my thermostat (see screenshot)

Maybe a difference between your 'real' wall thermostat and my radiator 'knob' thermostat?

I use "The Heat" knob thermostat.

    What firmware do use?

    Mine are:

    HC3: 5.050.13

    The Heat (FGT-001): 4.7

    Maybe there is a difference.

    Same firmware here.

I use the Eurotronic Spirit Z-wave Plus.

I asked Fibaro for a solution, hopefully the answer doesn't take too long

    Have a nice day.
