Prohibit the execution of a scene

Question

Posted

Hello everybody !

I am faced with a small problem to build one of my scenes. Yet I thought I had correctly reflected the trick! ah ah

Basically I have motion sensors all over the living room that turn on my lights; So far so good.

The scene is as follows:

Then I made a "cinema" button that when I activate it stores a value in a global variable. This allows you to disable motion detection and keep the light dimmed in the room.

In a normal case, without the cinema button activated, the lights go out after 10 minutes of no activities.

But I was thinking of protecting the scene that turns off the lights with the cinema mode global variable.

I think I'm missing out on something ....

Looking forward to a charitable soul! : D

thank you in advance

PS: I don't know LUA and I exclusively use the graphics builder

    Me again ! : D

So I modified the execution of the "Lights LifeSpace Off" scene via a custom event. It seems to work, I don't have hot tubs in the dark!

Hoping to have helped someone in the process. See you soon.

An other way could have been to create a new profile "Cinema" where some scenes would be disabled and others not...

Glad to find someone who doesn't use LUA !

@wienog I will actually try your solution because even with a custom event it does not work as I want ...

Yes, I use this method and it works.

when night mode is active and the morning routine sets the profile back to Home I don’t want te arriving home routines to start. So I disable and enable these.
