Dimmer 2 with Collingwood Haler H2Pro - Help With Settings

Guest JB1970

Question

Guest JB1970

Hi

I'm trying to set up a Fibaro Dimmer 2 with my dimmable LED lights with integral drivers.  I'm in the UK and the details are as follows:

  • The fittings are Collingwood Lighting Haler H2 Pro models.
  • There are 12 fittings on the circuit
  • The fittings are 8.5W and have a power factor of >0.95
  • They have been working using a conventional manual dimmer prior to installation of the Dimmer 2 module.
  • The Dimmer 2 is in 2 wire configuration without neutral
  • I've tried setting up with and without a Bypass 2 connected in parallel with the load

Unfortunately, I cannot get the lights to function correctly.  I can calibrate the module using the B button, as per the manual.  The lights come on at around 25 per cent (which is normal for this model), then slowly and smoothly ramp up to 100 per cent before going out.  I can get the green LED to show that they are dimmable and on automatic settings but then they just go haywire flickering on and off like a bad disco and I'm unable to control them using the switch.  I've either got to stop them with the B button or temporarily switch off the breaker to stop it.

Are there any settings I could check or manually adjust to override the auto calibration that might help.  The unit is controlled by another manufacturers Z wave hub, but I have access to all of the parameters available.  Any assistance appreciated.
