switch off many lights with one call

I would like to specfy a list of devices and then have one command to switch them all off

can any please guide me on how to do this please?

for ease of adding or taking away from goups would like adynamic group which is built from a list of device names to then add them to a group which i can then call to switch off or on, i know how to maunally define a group and to call it on or off, i dont know how to dynamiclly make a group based on a list of devices.
