Can't get HC3L connect to WIFI & GUI is a mess?

Ettrig

Question

I just started my brand new HC3L and I am not impressed.. as a HC3 owner I got it just for fun and potentially to add it as a slave.. but.. this feels like a beta product at best..

1. English localisation not working?

this is how my GUI look when I have it set to English. I had to navigate through the menus and for some reason switching to Swedish fixes this, but going back to English, which I prefer, it just shows the localisation strings.. lol.. (see screenshot 1)

2. Can't get it to connect to my WIFI.

I can login to the HC3L (obviously) but when I got into network settings and press Search & Connect, I just see the spinning icon forever and it never shows a list of networks I can connect to. What is going on? What do I do? (see screenshot 2)

1 - that browser cache issue, ctrl+F5

2 - once HC3L got wifi connected, it disconnect the integrated access point, but your computer might not recognize it and is waiting for refresh. Simply connect back your PC to your WiFi, once the HC3L LED lit green

  • From a PC with Chrome I got it working.

(It seems that the Fibaro GUI doesn't work from Safari on a MacBook Air M1)

The startup is simply speaking a mess and untested. And in the manual isn't described which buttons are the Reboot - and on the HW box there is no marking of the buttons.

After 2 days i am still not in a stable environment with two(2) devices.
