Home Center 3 / Lua Scene / HTTP request (GET/POST)

jakraj

Question

Hi,

I have tried to investigate and learn how to construct Lua Scene for sending the HTTP request to some URL Endopoint. Could somebody share the code as some template that I can later edit with my parameters: DECLARATIONS + ACTIONS parts? Some day when it is working solution, I will share a guide how to copy to your setup - also with explanation of added value (data visualisation).

In my case I would like to send data to Google Analytics There is option to send data using either POST or GET requests.

Please login or register to see this link.

In the meantime I will keep fighting and trying to make it work...

Best, Jakub

  • Not sure what you mean... I am new to Fibaro. Do you mean Analytics tracking of Fibaro Home center page? No, I do not want to achieve this.

I know how to send fake requests - modified by myself - to Google Analytics. GA would serve only as the endpoint for a data storage, calculation and visualization. E.g. I have recently tracked my consumption of beer, wine, water ... On top of that I can use Google Data Studio to visualize my data. With this I want to send send the temperature data from each room and visualize all in one dashboard. ;)
