Separate sensing from controlling

Question

Posted (edited)

Hello everyone,

I'm considering to use a Fibaro FSG-213 in combination with a wired PIR sensor and Home Assistant. The PIR sensor would be wired as switch and the Home Assistant would be configured to control the light. See

for another description and a wire diagram. The special aspect is that the switch should not switch the light on when motion is detected but leave decision to Home Assistant.

Is that a possibility? If so, how should I configure the switch?

Thanks in advance!

Bert

Looking at the manual, I think this should be possible if you connect the pir switch output to S2. Change parameter 29 to 1 to allow a scene to be triggered. No need to connect anything to S1.

Thanks! I'm going to try that.
