Fibaro dimmer brightness not the same

Ravaoo

Question

My lamp has 10 led bulbs. If i switch it on With 25% strength it is nice brightness. When i switch it of And later i switch it on with same strength 25% the light is to bright. Sometimes  i switch on it almost gives no   light, sometimes Nice And sometimes to bright. All times strength 25%.

i installed a bypass.

What to do to get the dimmer working constant, always the same brightness with the same % strength?

Did you do the calibration process on first install? If not, power of the dimmer and set parameter 14 to 2. Turn power back on and let the calibration process run. Also consider letting autoadjust be used if not already so. Parameter 30 set at 2.

(Just a quick newbie question - if you power off the dimmer (at the breaker I assume) how will it know that it needs to do a calibration?)

@gurpal2000 there is a parameter (14) that allows you to define when a calibration should occur. One of the options is to calibrate every time after a power cut. This is useful if it's difficult to get to the physical device to click the B button.

Understood. The HC3 would queue up the command....

If you can get to the devices then it's easier to use the B button, as you say. For a given room I have my devices all in one place in a removable panel in the ceiling in the corner. This is because in the future if I want to change the technology, I can. (I hope I don't have to!)
