Fibaro universal sensor and smart implant issues HC3

Hi all. 
 

anyone having issues with the Fibaro universal sensor and the smart implant on the HC3? I have a mix of them (X5) on various firmwares and none of them work properly.

 

they include but do not detect state changes for door sensors nor pick up temp or humidity sensors. Tried removing, re-adding in security and non security mode and still no joy.

 

setup the options in advanced to use a door sensor, the 2 devices show up after a refresh of the ui but the sensor never shows a state change.

 

I bought the HC3 as my HC2 packed up and turns out it was the psu that had died and now my hc2 is back up and working. Tested all of my universal and smart implants and all work AOK with my hc2.

 

any ideas?

 

im on the latest firmware for my HC3:- 5.08.12.

Guessing the new 3 as i have the option to add devices in S2 mode but never opted in for it.

 

Is there a definitive way i can check?

Looks like i am on the new 3. 

 

For the time being, going back to the HC2 until the HC3 is at a 'non beta' point.
