I have updated both the HC3 and HC3L to the latest beta.

I was hoping that this would sort the communication issues out but so far still the same.

The HC3 can see the HC3L - and it shows as connected, and i can even login directly however i get transfer failed on every module..

Is there anything else i need to do to sort.

I dont want to be removing and adding again.

When i first set it up it worked perfectly.

Thanks

@morpheus75 perhaps the slave has moved to zwave engine 3, log in to the slave and check please

there are more problems:

The problem with switching zwave was introduced some time ago and fixed, but restoring backup on slave was neccesary.

Since what version are you experiencing issues?

Please contact support first thing on monday and we will help you resolve this.

    hi

the slave is still on zwave 2.0 as thats what it says.

5.080 i did the master slave setup.

    added about 20 odd devices

all working and then all i did was reboot both units.

since then the Master can see the Slave and i can click through to login to the slave through the Master

But no device control - all come as transfer failed.

Initially was reading about the gateway connection issues and waited until this update but still same problem.

i will call you on Monday

    Thanks

I did experience this issue before I updated to the new firmware version (I was on 5.80.9).  I remove the problem HC3L and re-added as a new slave.  Then I upgraded to the new firmware and re-add all the devices (mine was about 20 devices).  Now works perfectly.

After a power failure or a reboot of the master gateway some of the slave gateway devices lose their configuration. This was always a problem since I added two HC3 slave gateways about 8 months ago.

Relays on the slave gateways lose their connection and won't connect again.

Motion sensors go back to default settings

Roller shutter relays that control doors go back to default settings and the doors don't open or close anymore.

I was hoping this update would fix it but is still the same

The latest firmware 5.090.17 seems to have fixed the problem.

Thank you Fibaro development and support teams!
