Months ago I made a notification to Fibaro support that in the Yubbi app icons where changed in ?

Those icons where choosen icons. Deault icons stayed vissable.

Regretley I dont have that email anymore but when you look back you can see when it start to fail.

You are able to change the icon in the current 5.091.41 (beta) for the Generic device.

What details do you need?

The lightSensor is from the fibaro motion sensor.

All the generic devices are from quick apps from this forum. 

Icon is programmed in the quickapp code as follows:

    self:updateProperty("deviceIcon", 1156)
    self:run()

function QuickApp:onInit()
    self:updateProperty("deviceIcon", 1157)
    self:debug("onInit")

 

function QuickApp:onInit()
    self:updateProperty("deviceIcon",1085)
 

 

After the update to 5.091.41 (beta)we can change the icon for the Generic device, as written by @danidani above.

But I haven't tried this until now.

yes  its the same for me missing icons  in the app  i have the latest softwer in fibaro controler and  the youbi app..

So, Yubii 1.14.1, Home Center 5.092.19

multilevel sensor - works

com.fibaro.lightSensor - works

generic device - doesn't work

 

In generic device this piece of code "self:updateProperty("deviceIcon", 1156)" doesn't work.

If i exclude this code above and then I upload the icon in the general tab, doesn't work.

I'm on Beta.

You are in local access (the same network as HC)?

Please kill the app and run again - custom icon should appear.

My standard Network Secure Connection is "http/https".

 

Result: Custom icon for QA of Type = Generic device in the Yubii app is missing.

 

Steps to load the icon to the Yubii app:

1. Kill the app

2. Change Network Secure Connection to "http"

3. Open the Yubii app, the icon is loaded

 

After that I changed Network Secure Connection back to the "http/https" and the icon is still there.

It works again. 

 

1. I kill the app

2. I change Network Connection to http/https (because it was on http from the last time) 

3. I start yubii app- icon is loaded.

Any updates on this????

The above does not seem to work for me and i have the following

 

We are seeing the Question marks for binary Inputs from the Fibaro Implants and not the actual state, the icons in HC configuration is the default circle that highlights red when activated.

Hardware is HC3 running firmware 5.100 (newest non beta at the time) and the app is version 1.15, the implants are running newest firmware as well 5.2

Hello all i did a lot of looking around on this and have actually come up with a solution that works without having to change any network settings.

 

Solution:

It turns out that the default icons installed into the home center (in my car the HC3) are to big in size at 192x192 pixels, when adding in your own custom icons these need to be 128x128 pixels.

So what i have done is saved the standard icons (right click and save image as) resized them down to 128x128 pixels in size, and then added them back in as new custom icons.

 

This instantly fixed my problem and the icons for inputs from the Fibaro Implant all display correctly in the Yubii App.

 

Hopefully this helps people moving forward and or even better maybe FIbaro can implement this as a fix into one of their firmware updates down the track, pending this is even something that is embedded in the firmware and or software???

I have the same issues, over time the icons for energy meter have been lost. I use the 128x128 px format and they are correct showing in the browser but on the ipad and the iphone Yubii HC3 app they show as question mark.

 

i followed all remedies above, but unfortunately nothing worked. Open to any suggestions as it is very annoying

 

Ipad version Yubii app: 1.16.0

HC3 version : 5.110.15

 

ps I found that default icons 192x192px are while user defined icons must be 128x128px !!

I have the same issue , icons won't appear in my generic app .........................@R.Ciesielski are you going to fix it ? Yubii1.16 on iPhone, and i did what read in this post, nothing help

I have a similar problem: scenes in yubii on my ipad and iphone are showing completely different icons than in the browser, not a "?" but a complete different icon. Has anyone found a solution?

Still have teh issue at my side...

 

strang is that I have 2 mobile (Samsung Android)

on does not display the custom  icon,

the second works perfectly fine.

 

 

Is Fibaro and Yubii going to start on that issue ?

You have to connect first time from your local area network not from internet. It load correctly the image.... then it is ok
