connection lost

I've a HC3 installed in our hoilday-house to control heating from home. It is 150km away from my home. It happend 3 times within 3 months, that I lost the connection so I couldn't start heating. The problem was every time solved by rebooting HC3.  To do that, I have to drive in my holiday-house (150 km one way). Has anybody a solution for that problem?

I have an extra WLAN Power Switch - so i can cut off the power from my HC3 to restart the system.

Currently cheapest option is use some cloud based wifi plug, then you can do power rest to HC3.

(Not ideal solution, but will do the job)

I have also extra device that is able to detect HC3 freeze and autorestart of HC3 (manual restart is also possible)

Thanks for the answers. I had the same idea and bought a Switch, which listens to a command that is sent by SMS. The advantage is, that I can reboot also the Router.

Hi Everyone,

I am facing the same issue.

although that external unit to reset HC3 is nice, isn't it better to figure out why this happens ? 

this defiantly shouldn't happen...
