Question

With the ZW3 engine you can now include Z-Wave modules with security level S2.
From the inclusion screen you can choose S0 or S2. You cannot choose to have no security if it supports S0.
Little bit confused on the different types. I thought S2 is S2 but apparently there are different flavors.
NS No Security
S0 Security S0
S2U Security S2 Unauthenticated
S2A Security S2 Authenticated
S2AC Security S2 Access Control
It looks like Fibaro uses multiple security modes for their devices. Dimmer 2 and Wall plug don't have any QR with DSK code but include in a security mode,
S2U?Seems like these new devices are still S0Other modules like the Smart implant, Smart module and RGBW module have a DSK code, S2A?
My problem with this. When you want to make associations they have to be in the same security mode. But okay then we include then without S2 security.
Then I noticed that not all new devices supports S0 security. So one device includes with no security and the other with S0. Fibaro doesn't except no security level anymore if S0 is available.
So you can still not make associations with devices. This makes the association function very limited. Especially the association function is a verry good feature of the Z-wave devices.
I tried to create an association with the output of a Qubino On/Off thermostat 2 to a Fibaro Wall plug.
