I already got a working solution with HA and protect. But this is nice.

So, just to make it clear.

 

In the config, edit the local IP of the G4 doorbell.

Add, the username and password i use for local login.

Add the name as given in the GUI of the doorbell.

This is nice, now i can dump HA again. Since home assistant was only calling a script to let alexa talk. And say "someone is at the door".

 

My own solution can do that alreadty on the HC3! I only needed a binary trigger for the G4.

 

Next up, trigger a routine that plays a feed on my Echo show. Already got that running with

how i can pass message to my old Amazon echo 1 to speak "someone is at the door". what a script you are talk about and last - is the paid service?

No, its free.

 

I am running a LAMP server with a little piece of PHP

That PHP triggers a script on my server (syno nas, but before a rpi / ubuntu)

That script sends a TTS cmd to amazon.

My echo show, speaks the command

 

I have a qa that inserts a variable to the PHP, so i can make alexa say anything from the HC3

That script can also trigger routine's on the echo show, so with your quickapp. I can send 

a command to the echo show, that shows my feed from the doorbell  YAY!

Thanks to your quickapp, alexa now announce when someone is at the door.

Next up, integrate it with "scrypted", so it will announce the name if recognized.
