Notifications coming even in settings are adjusted to once a week

Neo Andersson

Question

Hello there

Can anyone give me some support, why are all the battery notifications sent every minute or so, if in the notification setting I have selected "Once a week" option.

Thanks

I used this in 2020 to disable the notifications "in bulk" then moved to @Sankotronic's battery scene

This is (was) my modified battery reporting scene. That's what I used to monitor batteries...

I am sure you can start from there to do what you want

To answer that question... When I wrote that scene, I also thought it was taking too much time to figure out what is causing the problem and set it programmatically... I commented "I think it is not necessary to actually call this on each slave device, but it is slightly more difficult do that once per master device." - actually 'slave devices' might have something to do with it.

Also reconfigure and soft-reconfigure might reset the notification option.
