Association not firing consistently

Bobbbino

Question

I have a Fibaro HC3 with Fibaro Dimmer 2 modules and Bypass kits installed. I have configured an association on the second input of the dimmer with the light connected to another dimmer so that one light can be controlled from multiple switches.

The association seems to work fine, except when you walk away and don't touch it for several hours. Sometimes (and not all the time) you hit the switch connected to the second channel on the dimmer not directly connected to the light and it won't come on. If you hit the same switch a second time it starts working. It then continues to work as intended, allowing the light to be turned on or off multiple times.

It's as though something needs to be woken up or something. Has anyone seen this before?

And just to pre-empt, this is not about momentary vs toggle switch config. My dimmers are correctly configured as toggle switches and as I say, it works fine on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th etc press, just not the first press after being idle for several hours.
