Convert HC2 motion sensor LUA to HC3

nea

Question

Hi.

I'm in process of converting from HC2 to HC3. I'm looking for the most effecient and reccomende way of doing the classic "motion -> light on -> after x min -> turn off in HC3. I've red a lot of posts on the forum. I do understand that there are new possibilities with HC3. The concept of creating a QuickApp described by @jgab from this

is tested in my HC3 and working out great. However, with a big house and many sensors there will be a lot of QAs and many relations. In my old HC I had one LUA for each room placed in a "system room". At startup of HC2, all the scripts started up. The old system ran flawless and the concept was pretty easy to maintain. Is it possible to do something similar with HC3? Below is the code I'm running for one of my rooms in HC2 today. Any advice would be appreciated.

JGab his Event Runner works great, also for big house!

ER is very complete and I find it more easy as making your own QA.

This works different as scenes you don't need for each thing you want a scene.

Its more clear what whwere to search and more important to find.

In my old HC2 I had 150 scenes and for my I lost sight on my Home Automation

I have 85 devices and 5 basic QA's

QA:

--updater

--Security

--Lights

--all other devices you can devide in 2 QA's fa ground floor, first floor

--wich rooms are occupied

If you want I can send you aa example of one of mt QA's

Succes
