net.TCPSocket() async

SergeyMatsys

Question

Hello!

I have JVC proector, controlled by TCP. It has a three-fold greeting before receiving/sending data. Since the functions in the QApp are asynchronous, it is impossible to trace the chain of responses and react. How can I make a synchronous exchange?

Hi,

I don't see why you can use async.

Send command 1

  async response 1

    Process response 1 and send next command

       async response 2

         Process response 2 and send next command

           ...

I use x level nesting and don't see any problems with that.
