Ultraloq U-Bolt Pro Z-Wave Deadbolt

Question

I know this is not on the compatibility list so is there a way to make a feature request to get Ultraloc support? I got it cheap from a friend and now realised it won't register with HC3.

Just quietly, it seems to be working pretty solid just with the direct Bluetooth & fingerprint. Keen to get HC3 integration to do more cool things though.

Hello,

What I know about Z-Wave locks, you should integrate them only via secure inclusion only  into Z-Wave network. For example Danalock does not work correctly in case of unsecured inclusion.

Next is if you set it via app first, sometimes locks just turn off Z-Wave part and use Bluetooth instead, so we advice our customers to use Z-Wave only and turn off BLE (if possible).

  • Thanks for the prompt response @jakub.jezek. Yeah, I tried adding in security mode with no success.

Regarding BLE, it's required to allow control from the app. Using the app is the only way described in the manual to add the lock to the z-wave network.

    I'll keep digging.
